Previous mock drafts:

First Round

1st overall pick the Orlando Magic select: Chet Holmgren

20: 7’1 200 Big Gonzaga. Comp= smaller but better passing KP.

Orlando sticks to its identity by upgrading Bamba and focusing in on another defense first guy.

2nd overall pick the Oklahoma City Thunder select: Paolo Banchero

19: 6’9 240 Big Duke (Italy) Comp= Pistons Blake Griffin

The Thunder take Paolo and hope he helps fill the hole of anther creator next to SGA.

3rd overall pick the Houston Rockets select: Jabari Smith jr

19: 6’10 210 Front Court Auburn. Comp= Rashard Lewis ish

The rockets completely cover up Jabari’s weaknesses, I LOVE THIS FIT.

4th overall pick the Sacramento Kings select: Shaedon Sharpe

19: 6’6 200 Wing Kentucky (Canada). Comp= slower Zach LaVine.

NOTE TO MY EDITOR WHO IS A KINGS FAN AND ASKED FOR A WING DEFENDER: Sharpe is the best player available, you can’t really pass on him, I’m sorry.

Sharpe has some great potential especially as a shooter.

5th overall pick the Detroit Pistons select: Jaden Ivey

20: 6’4 200 Guard Purdue Comp= Donovan Mitchell

A second creator next to Cade is great. Cade throwing lobs to Ivey is going to be Top 10 Highlights weekly

6th overall pick the Indiana Pacers select: Adrian Griffin Jr.

The Pacers go with the best wing available. Hopefully his defense rebounds after all the injuries.

7th overall pick the Portland Trailblazers select: Jalen Duren

18: 6’10 241 Pivot Memphis Comp= More Athletic and Defense minded Jermaine O’Neal

Duren has the highest ceiling available. This also allows them to explore moving on from Nurkic.

8th overall pick the New Orleans Pelicans select: Bennedict Mathurin

20: 6’5 195 Wing Arizona (Canada). Comp= Kevin Martin.

The Pelicans looking to add role players around CJ, BI and Zion find a good one in Mathurin.

9th overall pick the San Antonio Spurs select: Keegan Murray

22: 6’8 215 Forward Iowa. Comp= Marcus Morris who isn’t a dirty player and plays real defense.

The Spurs pick the perfect Spur.

10th overall pick the Washington Wizards select: Johnny Davis

20: 6’5 200 Wing Wisconsin. Comp= Ron Harper.

Davis’s slide ends here where he will either take the spotlight from Beal when he is traded or try to help ease some of Beals load.

11th overall pick the New York Knicks select: Dyson Daniels

19: 6’8 180 Guard Ignite (Australia). Comp= Josh Green

NY is gonna try to play Dyson at the 1, Dyson should really hope he doesn’t go here.

12th overall pick the Oklahoma City Thunder select: Jeremy Sochan

19: 6’7 220 Forward Baylor (Poland) comp= taller Matisse Thybulle

The Thunder go with the weird player per usual. Sochan could be really interesting next to Paolo.

13th overall pick the Charlotte Hornets select: Mark Williams

20: 7’ 245 Big Duke (Nigeria). Comp= Derrick Favors

Charlotte needs a big just like Williams so hopefully he fits the bill.

Tari isn’t a positon of need but his defense will be invaluable.

The Hornets take the spot up weapon they need next to Lamelo Ball.

Hawks need talent as the begin a simi rebuild and this will be how they start acquiring talent.

17th overall pick the Houston Rockets select: Tyty Washington

20: 6’3 175 Guard Kentucky. Comp= Brandon Knight Ish

Rockets shouldn’t reach for a maybe point guard with Ivey when they can get one here with Tyty.

18th overall pick the Chicago Bulls select: Ismael Kamagate

22: 6’11 230 Pivot Paris (France). Comp= Daniel Gafford with a jumper.

This will give the bulls another look on defense to hopeful throw at teams in the playoffs.

Brown is a great passing wing who will look much better outside of the Baylor System.

22: 6’7 225 Wing Ignite. Comp= Josh Howard

The Nuggets will love Marion’s cutting next to Jokic and his positional versatility on defense will really help.

The Grizzlies make their bench even more deadly.

24th overall pick the Milwaukee Bucks select: Matteo Spagnolo

19: 6’6 190 Point/Wing Vanoli Cremona (Italy). Comp= Spencer Dinwiddie

The bucks need to stash a pick, but even if not Matteo could actually help them with his ball handling this coming season.

25th overall pick the San Antonio Spurs select: Bryce McGowens

19: 6’7 180 Wing Nebraska. Comp= Jamaal Crawford ish

The Spurs can swing for the fences with these picks and Bryce has Sky High potential.

26th overall pick the Dallas Mavericks select: Dalen Terry

20: 6’7 195 Wing Arizona. Comp= Bruce Brown.

Why not take the ball handler who can also defend really well and hope his shooting from the tournament was real?

Miller is the biggest what if in the draft. GSW taking him is a great idea.
