NBA Top Shot announced today via email that the WNBA is finally coming to their platform.
In celebration of the WNBA’s 25th season, moments from the current players and league legends will be coming to pack drops soon! Their initial marketing materials feature Lisa Leslie and A’ja Wilson.
The first 10,000 fans to sign up for the first pack drop will automatically receive the first-ever WNBA top shot moment: an A’ja Wilson Block.
The pack drop is scheduled for this upcoming Friday, 8/27, at the typical time of 11am PST / 2pm EST.
This is an exciting announcement both for fans of the WNBA and NFTs in general. With dozens of Top Shot moments selling for over six figures, any additions to the platform are encouraging for its long-term growth and adoption.
