Congratulations are in order: Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier and fiancé Alex Bazzell announced this afternoon via People.com that they are expecting their first child, a baby girl.
Collier has exploded onto the scene in the WNBA since being drafted in 2019. She was named Rookie of the Year that season, and continues to develop into a world class, two-way forward.

Her fiancé, Alex Bazzell, is a player development coach and trainer that first met Collier at the University of Connecticut.
Lynx PR released a statement after the announcement congratulating the couple. They also indicated that they’ll be offering as much support and resources as possible for the mother-to-be. The WNBA’s most recent
