Yet another NBA Trade Deadline has come and gone, and we’re left with lots to sort out. Thursday was a wild ride, and deals continued to flow in after the 3pm deadline.
We know one thing about NBA Twitter for sure: it lives for transaction periods – sometimes more so than when these players are, you know, playing basketball.
Talking heads, beat reporters, and NBA players took to Twitter all day to find out what deals were happening (or not happening) and weighed in with their unfiltered takes and reactions.

Notable Non-Transactions
Kyle Lowry will stay put in Toronto and become an unrestricted free agent this offseason. Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer recently reported that Lowry will be seeking a contract in the 2yr / $50m range.
The Pelicans were not able to find a deal for upcoming restricted free agent with Lonzo Ball, and will have matching rights to fend off other suiters if they decide he’s part of the core moving forward.
It was also briefly believed that Trey Lyles would be moving to the Mavs as part of a three-team trade, but the final version of that deal left Lyles in San Antonio.
The Day’s Real Winner: Terrence Ross’ Twitter
As the Magic began to sell off their veteran parts, Terrence Ross‘ reactions had Twitter users everywhere refreshing his feed all day.
At first he was a bit worried, and for good reason. He very well could have been on the trading block too.
It didn’t take Ross to turn his worry into hilarious reactions about what was going on throughout the day.
It didn’t take long for Ross to find himself in the middle of a full-scale rebuild down in Orlando.
Bravo, Mr. Ross. You have truly won the day.
