Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics will be heading to the Dairy State on Christmas Day to face off against the Bucks.
The Celtics could definitely use a win as they have underperformed so far this season with a 16-16 record.
Boston hasn’t been able to string together more than three consecutive wins at any point this season, however, they have faired well against Milwaukee, having won in both previous matchups this year.
Both of those wins were driven by big performances.
The first, a 38 point outing by Dennis Schroeder. The other, a 42 point gem from Tatum.
Milwaukee may have a big disadvantage for this game if Giannis Antetokounmpo is unable to clear health and safety protocols.
The Bucks are 4-4 this season without their two time MVP, including 0-1 to the Celtics.
Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday are capable of carrying this team, but it would still be a tougher task for the Bucks.
If Giannis ends up not being able to play, Boston should be able to take care of the Bucks on the road.
The prediction here? Boston comes away with a 114-105 victory to put under the tree.
